PulseDigital WMS utilizes tracking technology or automatic identification to record events in real-time. Gathering information about a batch, its location, or status is possible by scanning 1D or 2D barcode labels or reading RFID tags. It identifies batch information, including its code, type (product, semi-finished, or material), location, expiration dates, and the history of operations performed on it. This information is available online at any time and from any point within the enterprise.
The warehouse management system monitors the material flow not only of material batches, semi-finished goods, and products but also of packaging (containers, drums, etc.). Every movement is registered, ensuring the current location and actual path of the batch and packaging are always known.
To ensure timely provision of raw materials, materials, and semi-finished goods for production, the WMS system, in conjunction with the APS product, generates tasks for issuing and moving batches for the staff. Normative data on the duration of movements between locations or between work centers within one location is also considered in production planning, allowing for precise minute-by-minute control of the material flow.
The batch tracking system based on the WMS system ensures complete traceability of batches from the arrival of materials at the enterprise to the shipment of finished products.
