What is QMS?
Quality Management System (QMS) is software that allows you to keep quality of your products, semi-finished goods, raw materials, and production processes under control in accordance with specified standards and promptly respond to emerging deviations.
By collecting information about product quality, the system not only helps identify and eliminate problems but also takes a systematic approach to the task of improving product quality.
How does the QMS work?
QMS is a product that allows you to control the quality of production at your factory in real-time. Continuous monitoring of production processes, analysis, and identification of deviations enable timely detection of discrepancies and achieve better quality!
Tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Cause-and-Effect Diagram (Ishikawa Diagram), and The Eight Disciplines (8D) Model will not only help you achieve a sufficiently high level of production quality and improve it but also reduce costs.
What are the key functions?
Register of regulatory and methodological documents for quality control at all stages of production:
- Maintenance of normative quality control data
- Maintenance of quality characteristic directories
- Directory of control range values for quality indicators
- References to sections of regulatory documents for each recorded indicator
- Classification of types and causes of defects
Collection of primary data on the quality of purchased resources during incoming inspection:
- Registration of actual results of incoming inspection
- Identification of control results according to the resource arrival document, batches of resources
- Comparison of quality indicators by suppliers
- Issuance of rejection/approval for use in production – integration of verification as a condition for document transfer at stages into electronic document flow of material flows
Collection of primary data on quality in the production process:
- Registration of actual quality indicator values
- Registration of corrective and final defects
- Registration of quality indicators for each batch
- Conducting selective quality control
Collection of primary data on production process parameters:
- Registration of actual quality parameter values of the production process
- Automatic collection of information about the quality of the technological process from equipment (IIoT)
Visualization of compliance with the actual value to the control range according to the directory.
Personalization of control results, registration of experts who performed the control.
Quality analysis and control tools:
- 8D problem-solving methodology
- Ishikawa diagram
- Pareto diagram
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
